Something different is on the horizon.
I think I scared you away.
But with the tick of every clock I find,
That maybe it’s okay to move on.
Throwing away flowers
Just to tell myself I’m done.
There’s ties that I can’t sever,
But I can’t be the only one
Who still holds onto everything
that we were supposed to let go.
So alas, there’s something new on the horizon,
and I’ll forced myself to
let you go, ’cause it’s what I’m supposed to do.
