Fill my eyes with such a horror,
For there I stood right before her,
Her body in a deepened slumber,
Whose once bright hair has turned to umber,
Darkened silence screamed her name,
But my mistake remained the same,
Drip, drip, dripping on the floor,
Though it’s silent, I fight a simple war,
Red and blue seep through the glass,
Time ticking like an hourglass,
Police broke down the door,
Sounding like a lion’s roar,
Now I stand, hands in the air,
Maybe I deserved this, but how else would I react to an affair?
