Change is like life and death;
You cannot control it.
You cannot flee from change.
Sooner or later, it
Will knock on your door.
And how will you respond?
The grass turns brown and crumples;
The flowers wither and die.
People walk in and out of
Your life. Doors open, and doors
Close. The challenges of change
Are hurtful and difficult.
So what will you do? How will you
Manage? How will you ever navigate
The stormy sea of change? How will
You overcome it? How will you stay
Rooted when the wind blows? How will
You keep yourself anchored?
Change is a plague to humanity.
There is no cure, no vaccine, no drug.
You cannot run, and you cannot hide.
Life may never be the same again
When change comes and knocks you off your feet.
No, change cannot be undone, but it can be embraced.
