Title: Terror
Medium: Ink Pen
Description: The piece “Terror” was inspired by my belief that beneath the beautiful and ornate lies the frightening presence of evil. Evil, as seen in the three figures peeking out from the intricate patterns, is the focus of my AP Art and Design concentration. The medium I used, white gel pen on black poster board, was not something that I initially planned for. This actually came up when I realized that the back side of white poster board was black and had allowed me to express a more unique juxtaposition between light/dark and good/evil.
