Everything happens for a reason,
But reason is too intricate for the young.
Convention doesn’t have to make sense,
It just simply is.
You’ll understand when you’re older.
The best is yet to come.
You’ll forget all the days swallowed by regret,
The hours stolen and wasted.
Just wait till you’re older.
It’s never too late to learn.
Time is simply a frame of reference,
And it’s supposed to be comforting.
Better late than never, I guess.
We’re always growing up,
I know it’s easy to forget.
