Can subtle words and actions mend the soul?
Can they heal hidden wounds and reclaim control?
In a trying time, a smile goes a long way,
Memories of laughing with a loved one on a lonely day
The simple gesture of holding the door is often cherished,
When positive thoughts seem to have perished,
Positivity echos in my mind when doubt creeps in,
Motivational words make a loss feel like a win,
Though negative thoughts may flood my mind,
I have found a way to leave it behind
The steadiness of a friend helps us breathe through a storm,
Making us feel heard and helping our hearts feel warm,
When advice is given, I feel so stable
And suddenly, I know I’m able
Subtle words and actions mend the soul,
They heal hidden wounds and reclaim control.
