By Kendall Sheehan

She wore red when the world wore white

She is a medium, but one size fits all

She is too tall, too big, but somehow still too small

She is too pretty to be plain

She is too plain to be pretty

She is too much of everything, and still never enough

So, she fits in the box

She gets in line

Becomes of one mind

Black and white when she was made for color

Dulls her extraordinary for a world that values the ordinary

She is too afraid, too scared to be alone

One size fits all

Before long, she is gone
