One day I closed my eyes,

As my check was kissed by the Harvest Sky.

Oh, the beauties of the Autumn days,

And all the fun that comes as it may.

Leaves dance in the sun

As the children carve pumpkins for fun.

Oh, the beauties of the Autumn days,

And all the blessings given my way.

Laughter and excitement fills the air,

As neighbors prepare their candy to share.

Oh, the beauties of the Autumn Days,

And all of God’s glory on display.

Families are ready for turkeys that await

As mother holds a slice of pie on her plate.

Oh, the beauties of the Autumn Days,

And please let everyone eat away.

Leaves fall from their trees

As everyone feels a cool breeze.

Oh, the beauties of the Autumn Days,

And may they never fade away.
