OLu’s kicking off the 2022-2023 school year in technicolor! The cast has been hard at work and soon but not soon enough, they will be able to share the Biblical story of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Opening November 3rd, OLu will be reprising this show in the Nechita theater for the first time since 2011.

Eleven years ago, a six-year-old girl led her mom to the front row seats of a seemingly giant theater packed with people. That six-year-old had already seen a show at this theater; however, she was so enthralled she had to  see another. That little girl was me; my parents took me to see OLu’s first production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I hung onto every word spoken and every lyric sung––I was hooked, and you will be too. Bring friends, family, or neighbors because this show is loved by all ages. Not only was the student talent outstanding, but Orange Lutheran has a skilled set of technicians, directors, and stage managers who give the students a professional-level production.

Come see Joseph, his twelve brothers, their twelve wives, three narrators, and everything but the kitchen sink! This show is packed with complex music, beautiful storytelling, and Biblical teachings.
