Sparkling frost and fairy lights,

hot chocolate and starry nights.

Warm new coats and wrapping gifts,

fireplaces and deep snow drifts.

Wind flushed cheeks and glittering trees,

knitted scarves and cups of tea.

Christmas fairs and snowball fights,

coloured skies fading to white.

Ho, ho, ho, the jolly sound,

bringing smiles to all around.

Carol singers at your door,

scattered presents on the floor.

Festive films and wooden sleighs,

counting down to Christmas day.

Bright baubles and mistletoe,

Winter sets the world aglow.

The perfect Christmas, a sight to behold,

Warm hearts, gentle snow, stories retold.
