Just how much more can my heart endure?

For this ailment, I offer no cure.

Fiery passion rises in the east,

But it is my heart that loves it least;

Bright in the sky, a waning reminder,

The fate of this world, a ticking timer.

Not much longer, this time it’s not a test;

Finally, I lay my head down to rest.

Out in the west, the light begins to fade,

It’s not much longer for me, I’m afraid.

From this timeless cycle, I’m finally free,

Though I hate to leave one lovely as thee;

Our hearts forever intertwined, my love,

I’ll always be here, even from above.
