A deep blackness looks at me
Unable to move I peer deeper
In the left of my vision a nebula blooms to life
Bright pinks and yellows drift together
Below that a star grows solid
Perfectly circular with a red outline
In the right a field of star brightens in strife
Ancient light that guides and glows forever
The shy ones that had twinkled with laughter hid
Growing small with a duller shine
As they collide they light glows sharp as a knife
The nebula dulls and the field seems to sever
And it was as if the universe was undid
And the blackness returned as if divine
I blink for only a moment
And the universe collapses with a whine
