You can

Have everything

Clothes, cars, confidence

Smiles, nods, acceptance

But is it anything?

When the cars crash, the clothes rip, the confidence fades.

The worlds hands hold many things

But not everything

It can give beauty, like a sunrise but that too fades.

It can give laughter, rippling like a wave, but comes crashing down

And then

You are left to wade

in what was, what did, and what will never bring true joy.

But then, there is that one love, that one feeling that you can’t escape.

Making you feel whole and who you are meant to be.

When you belong,

When you know who you are

When the world can see,

You found something that the world didn’t give you,

You found peace.
