”love is keeping the promise anyways.”
So you can waive your red flags while I close my eyes,
Cause I’ll remove a whole sense if that’s what it takes
For me to remain by your side.
Zach Bryan melted my heart.
“I know all the bad things about you,
But I still think you’re the purest of our kind.”
So I’ll leave my eyes open and believe every flaw,
Cause true love truly ain’t blind.
Ed Sheeran put the nail in the coffin.
”I’ll surrender up my heart, and swap it for yours.”
So i’ll think it as romantic and be quick to act,
But even quicker I swallow the key for the lock,
Realizing I’ll never get my heart back.
Proved Zach Bryan right.
“Love turns to loss as the time goes by,
You don’t know your own name but you know mine.”
So either this impopster feeling means we’re doing it right,
Or we’re pretending it’s love while just killing time.
It’s getting harder to believe Nana Osoki.
“No matter how much, or how often people
Hurt each other, loving someone is never a waste.”
So I won’t leave even through the yelling disapproval of everyone around,
Failing to convince myself that none of it is a mistake.
