…especially during a pandemic.
For years I have been venturing into the outdoors, whether that is with my father, with friends, or simply by myself. Going out into the wilderness with a well-built vehicle that can sustain damage and not be incapacitated is something that has always stood out to me. Enjoying what nature has to offer is something that I feel everyone should experience and get to try. Driving into the entrance of a trail and getting ready to tackle obstacles or just enjoy a scenic view always gets your heart racing for more. Often, I find myself taking various food items with me along on the trail to accompany the happy vibe.
The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc amongst people financially, socially, and emotionally. You may find that these stresses begin to get to a point where it has reached enough. I find that going out on the trail and going off-roading by yourself brings you a sense of peace and a sense of normality. A sense of normality is something that is rare to find during times like these stray far from what we are all used to. The cool breeze and the smell of the woods calms your heart to be at ease when you are stressed out.
On these trails, one does not only gain a sense of peace and tranquility, but they also get to earn different badges for the completion of the trails. These badges can be added to the side of your off-road ready vehicle to symbolize that you have completed the trail. Companies such as Jeep offer a Jeep badge program in which you earn loyalty points for putting your Jeep to use. Putting your vehicle to use really brings you a sense of accomplishment, especially when you built the vehicle yourself with specific parts and pieces. The trails are great places to sit and have a bite and take a day off from the stresses of day to day life.
