Spinning ‘round and ‘round
Lungs desperate for some air
She feels like she could drown
Wishing they wouldn’t stare
The loneliness is sinking in
Her words escape like bubbles
Swimming blindly with her fin
She can’t escape her troubles
Claustrophobic walls of glass
An ocean void of space
Wondering how long she’ll last
Before she’ll be replaced
Longing for the glass to break
To join the great big world
Something to release the ache
Of always being swirled
