Oh, how I love fall,

the season of leaves.

It brings me joy

to see the trees.

No matter the weather

I wear a warm sweater,

which keeps me warm

in the autumn breeze.

Red, orange, yellow, green

are all colors that I see.

There are stormy days and

sunny days,

but don’t forget the cloudy days.

Pumpkins are picked,

and bats are hung.

Scarecrows are placed,

and school bells are rung.

The time is now,

the time has come,

to carve your pumpkins, everyone.

Avoid the witches, ghosts,

and ghouls, the creatures that

may inhabit our mortal souls.

Trick or treat and stay up late,

but don’t forget

you have to be up by eight.
