There are so many advantages to playing sports, which is why encouraging others to attempt at some level of athletics is impactful. Studies show that over half of American citizens played a sport in the year 2022, and the benefits they gained on their mental psyche were remarkable.

A person’s psyche is affected by the act of exercising through various ways; Most notably is the positive influence it has throughout the body. Research shows that serotonin (a mood hormone) is improved throughout the body and endorphins are released, which is why there has been a decrease in anxiety, stress, and depression for those who are constantly being active.

Overall, sports impacts the brain as it increases blood flow to the brain and improves its function. Interestingly enough, athletes who do individual competitive sports tend to have a higher IQ. This is due to the fact that sports can enhance the brain’s creativity, cognitive development, and executive function.

Furthermore, team sports are often found to make an impact in building social psychological skills through various ways. It is always good for the brain to have social interaction and team sports enhances this through the ability to meet new people, build bonds, and make connections with those around you.

Furthermore, urge others to try as many sports as they can, even if it is just temporary because the positive impact sports has and its environment is something that everyone should try and experience at least once.
