Everything beautiful 

Is a like a sunset

A life well lived lights the sky.

When it fades, it leaves a glow 

On all who loved their life.

Everything beautiful 

Is like a sunset

The sound of a guitar, sets the sun in the sky

And when it stops, it leaves the stars

In the night

This life, it’s a sunset 

Every color, every moment, 

reflecting on clouds of our memories 

The afterglow of feelings

Not lost, but felt, are now sealing

The sky with a memory of all that once was beautiful 

Someday the stars are going to come out

And this color will fade from view 

So all I want

Is to live this sunset with you
