Queen said it best.

There is a “crazy little thing called love”.

Except, there’s one word that’s misleading.

When you’re in love, it’s not a little thing.

It is all consuming.

Like a whirlwind of emotions each time you skim eyes,

Minor moments appear externally minute,

How deceiving.

Creating a fireworks show within the heart of the receiver,

Unceasingly devoted.

Through failed attempts to cut the undeniable string, tethered,

Always crawling back in an impending way.

Trying to play it cool, as that’s how it’s supposed to be,

Well, playing it cool, how it’s “supposed to be,” is overrated.

Wearing hearts on sleeves, obvious and oblivious,

Making it known through undertones, unashamed.

So yes, love is a crazy thing,

Yet it is anything but little.
